With that, comes rules. Rules that benefit our ocean’s ecosystems and ensure stocks are sustainable for years to come. And since they can change frequently, it’s important that people know where to go to access the right information.
The New Zealand Fishing Rules app is designed to inform ocean-goers of changes to bag limits, biosecurity warnings, and other useful tips or info to help along the way.
Our challenge was to make sure people knew.
What’s different following this work is material that reflects the needs of the communities it intended to reach. With huge spikes in app downloads and use time, it’s become a compounding success year on year.
